What is AR?

Augmented reality uses camera technology and screen display to create a blending of reality and superimposed computer graphics. Resulting in an experience for the user that can enhance their view of the world. Imagine hiking on In the classroom this means that students can use devices to explore textbooks, conduct experiments, and create artwork all enhanced by the technology of AR.

ARTutor platform will be used to deliver the AR lesson. ARTutor consists of two parts: a web-based authoring tool and a mobile smartphone application.

 

The result is a lesson that can be enhanced by the teacher to include AR. Using their smartphone camera, the student can scan the PDF document and the video, portrait, metaphor, and conclusion video will appear.

 Shakespeare's 

 Sonnet 18 

In this lesson we will read Shakespeare Sonnet 18 using the ARTutor 2 app. Using AR the students will have an interactive experience while reading the poem.

  3. Open the app and search under documents for Sonnet 18 LTEC Project

  4. Scan the printout of Sonnet 18 with the app
